Frequently Asked Questions About Our Work

At Auto Shield Columbia LLC, we believe seeing is believing. Our gallery reflects our mission to provide the most durable paint protection film services. Below are common questions from our Elgin, Columbia and Lexington clients regarding the results they see in these photos.

Are the edges wrapped in these gallery photos?

Yes! Whenever the vehicle’s design allows, our paint protection film installers in Columbia perform an edge-wrapping technique. This ensures that the PPF installation is virtually invisible, providing a seamless look that you can observe in our close-up gallery shots. By wrapping the film behind the panels, we eliminate unsightly dirt lines and peeling edges.

The quality of the work is outstanding, and the finish looks amazing — you can tell they really take pride in what they do. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free from start to finish.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Google recommended this business to me. I met Mark and he explained all the details and how everything works. I trusted Mark with my brand new Palisade calligraphy (2 days old). Honestly I am glad I did. This was not an easy job, but he did a great job. I highly recommend Auto shield. So much so, that I am bringing my vehicle back for more later on.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Took my Jaguar F-Pace to Auto Shield of Columbia to have paint protection film (PPF) installed on the entire front end, and Mark did an incredible job. From start to finish, the customer service was hands-down the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. Mark is exceptionally knowledgeable, transparent, and honest—no upselling or runaround, just solid guidance on what made sense for my vehicle. He even offered me a ride home after I dropped the car off. The craftsmanship is flawless, and the pricing was very fair. If you want your vehicle done right by someone with real expertise and integrity, take it to Mark. Highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had Mark install the PPF on an identical 2012 MX-5 Miata about three years ago. Work was flawless and the film has performed extremely well during the 60,00 miles it has been installed. I just sold that car and replaced it with an identical Miata two years newer and again, Marc‘s work is flawless. I’m anticipating the same very high level of quality performance of the film on this new (to me) 2014 Miata going forward. Marc is extremely flexible and accommodating of my schedule, and surpassed my expectations. He will do every car I own that has PPF-worthy paint going forward.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my 7th visit to Mark at Auto Shield in the past 18 years, I trust him because he cares! He always takes good care of me and I always leave 100% satisfied! Mark is a car guy that understands how owners feel about their cars and treats them like they were his own!! Thanks Mark not only for the job you do but also for your friendship.
